Church Food Drives and Home Meal Deliveries

During this unprecedented time, MNPS has been a main resource hub for weekly hot meals, food box distributions and individual home deliveries for families that do not have transportation across the district. In order to meet the demand, MNPS is seeking support from our church partners to assist in hosting a food drive and individual food deliveries to support our MNPS students and families.

Food drives can be organized at the church’s convenience. You can check out tips for conducting a socially distanced food drive in the COVID-19 Coordinator Addendum.

Home deliveries will be a drop and go no contactless food delivery to students’ residences. Volunteers must complete a background check, ensure student-family confidentiality, and be at least 18 years of age and have a valid-driver’s license. Home delivery pick-up is located at Fall Hamilton Elementary School portable (the portable is in the back of the school) 510 Wedgewood and Rains Ave., Nashville TN 37203.

If your church is interested in helping with either of these opportunities, please sign up below.
