In the weeks prior to August 2018, New Life Apostolic Church had all hands on deck to assist Alex Green Elementary staff with the commencement of the new school year. The church held a school supply drive to collect office and classroom supplies. Immediately following the drive, New Life invited school staff to a Back to School Sunday event at the church where they were prayed over and provided lunch following the service.

Aniya Bryant, a senior at TSU who attends The Temple Church, is organizing a city-wide coat drive for MNPS students at schools across the district. She is looking for fellow church partners to collect and help distribute coats to MNPS.
